Singing Workshops

Comhaltas Ghlinntí Aontroma has organised singing workshops for Saturday November 9th 2019 in the Old School House Cushendall.

10.30 am until 12.30 pm- The morning session is aimed mainly for adults who want to come along and learn traditional songs. No singing experience is necessary.

!.30 pm until 3.30 pm- This session is for any young person who wants to learn how to sing traditional songs or who already sings and wants to learn new material.

The workshops will be taken by Mairead Walls. Mairead is from County Antrim and was a member of well-known group Deanta for a period. Known for her singing of songs from her local area, she mentions John Kennedy from Cullybackey as an early influence.
